The Business of ecoPower

ecoPower LLC develops solutions to reduce today’s carbon imprint and help any entity to become carbon neutral by replacing gas and diesel engines in stationary applications through electricity. In the case of Food Trucks, we offer an App-based service which provides access to the electric grid and eliminates the need for fuel-based engines.  This service can be used at any permanent food truck location in cities, universities, public parks, etc. as well as at recurring events like weekend food markets.
•The ecoPower Service will:
    >Improve environmental conditions by reducing air and noise pollution, while simultaneously
    > Reducing the cost of operations and improving the working environment for our customers and
    > Enhancing the customer / visitor experience.

•ecoPower’s initial market will be Washington DC food trucks [“Mobile Roadway Vending vehicles” or “MRVs”] on the National Mall and other authorized locations around the District – replacing generators that use carbon-based fuels with electric power.

ecoPower will install and operate a network of electricity supply stations [“pedestals”] for MRVs that will operate much like bike rental services and EV charging stations and will feature:
    > Availability of 120v and 240v electricity
    > Point of Service iOS and Android user applications to enable MRV operators to request and pay for use of the pedestals for an hourly fee.
    > Management systems to
+ Validate users, vehicles, and credit cards.
+ Turn power on / off to the requested point of supply.
+ Monitor and record all activity.
+  Detect and manage supply issues.
